Presque Isle County is participating in the State of Michigan's Renaissance Zone Program. The tax-free status of Renaissance Zone property offers new businesses and residents a 10-year market incentive of virtually no state or local taxes to spur new jobs and investment.

Businesses and residents are exempt from most state and local taxes including the following:

Real Property Tax
Personal Property Tax
6-mill State Education Tax
Single Business Tax
Utility Users Tax

Parcels are available at no cost to new businesses or expanding businesses that create jobs per acre of land. All parcels may be combined or divided as needed.
